Jon and I were married 4 years ago today. As most of you know, we started dating right before I got my mission call. We dated while I prepared to leave and although Jon supported me, he did try to get me to stay home and get married. I did go on my mission and Jon waited for me while I served. He wrote every single week of my mission (except the week of Valentines Day). Towards the end of my mission I started getting very nervous about going home to a boyfriend, but Jon assured me that we could take our time and not rush anything. Needless to say, we were engaged within a month of me getting home. We were married about 3 months later.
I am so happy to have Jon in my life. He is the best husband and father. He knows exactly how to handle my attitude. He is so patient with me and takes great care of me. I love you Honey, thanks for everything you do for me and for Shawn. You are the best! Happy Anniversary!!
