Camping in Idaho

Our camera did not do this sunset justice

Towards the end of August we went camping for the first time in Idaho. Actually it was the first time since Shawn was born. We went up to a campground that was right on Lake Cascade. When I say "right on" I mean RIGHT on. From the door of our tent to the sandy beach of the lake was only 35 steps. It was so beautiful. We really loved it and we got a chance to use our Coleman stove for the first time since we got it for Christmas two years ago.

It was freezing cold that night (even though Jon wouldn't agree). Shawn didn't sleep well and ended up only sleeping if I held him on top of me, which made for a very comfy night sleep. :) It was still a lot of fun to go camping again.
